winners of the 7th bead soup blog party contest
Judged by Lori and a panel of 6, these judges … Beaducation, Fusion Beads, Kalmbach Publishing, Lima Beads, Nina Designs & PJ Tool & Craft … had to go through over 900 spectacular pieces created by 541 participants from far and wide across this lovely planet. No small feat indeed! The amount of creativity displayed is astounding and this must have been a daunting task for each and every judge. I certainly don’t envy them having to choose their favourites 😉 How could one possibly choose?!
The winners of the contest were announced last night and …
one of my pieces (the hand forged black steel, lampwork bead and leather bracelet) won in the Best Wire Work category chosen by Nina Designs!
Oh Wow! I can not believe it – and am absolutely beside myself at being chosen. What an honour! There are so many breathtakingly talented entries … a very humbling experience this has become.
It is hard to even fathom the amount of work it must have taken to organize and host something of this magnitude! The sheer volume of creativeness is overwhelming and a huge kudos goes out to Lori and all of the judges for taking on this task. Holy cow … those guys are amazing!!!
Thank you, Fay!
This was definitely an incredible first attempt at a bead soup party – and hopefully I will have the opportunity to try it again some day.

Enjoy & have a great day 🙂
