Vulcan Television (vTV) is Canada’s first community based online television network and it offers programming for a rural audience; everything from indie music and film, cars to pets and history to agriculture. It is estimated to draw in millions of viewers from local, national and international markets, and as part of their network, they have also introduced the vTV Marketplace which will showcase Alberta artists, artisans and specialty services. Here is where we come in! As one of the first few online stores to participate … I thought it only fitting to introduce a new bracelet – and for the first item in our newest online shop to be worthy of the Vulcan TV namesake …

The station is spearheaded by the town of Vulcan , Alberta (the self-proclaimed Star Trek capital of Canada) and officially launched on Sept 26, 2015.

Here’s hoping that they will Live long and prosper

*Update June 21, 2016 – we just received notice that the vTV Marketplace has been cancelled. In their official release “… Marketplace’s eventual profitability seemed elusive and reluctantly vTV Management made the difficult decision to cease store activity immediately.”  Sorry to see them go so soon.

For anyone interested in the Live Long and Prosper leather wrap bracelet, it is available on the Peacock & Lime website, or in the Etsy shop – here
