Canada Post – possible labour disruption
Unfortunately it looks as though a Canada Post lockout /or strike action may possibly occur as early as July 2, 2016, resulting in a loss or possible complete stoppage of all Canada Post services. We have been advised to prepare for a labour disruption.
What does this mean?
To all of our American customers – this won’t be affecting shipments going to the US at all, as we have made arrangements to ship via USPS and will be shipping out on Monday, Wednesday & Fridays.
To all of our Canadian customers – local pick ups are still available, but sadly, we’ll be unable to ship within Canada unless alternate courier arrangements such as FedEx, Purolator, UPS, etc can be made (please note that extra shipping charges will apply). If alternate arrangements are not chosen, orders will continue to be processed, packaged and held, then shipped immediately once the postal situation has been resolved.
To our European and Australian customers – we’re still working on a viable alternative and hope to have one soon! In the meantime, all orders will continue to be processed, packaged and held – to be shipped immediately once the postal service resumes.
Should you have any questions, suggestions or inquiries, please do get in touch!
Here’s hoping to a quick resolution.
